Eligibility
Omnii is a dual-use research tool. Before you spend time filling in the registration form, confirm you meet the basic eligibility rules.
Who can request access
- Researchers, clinicians, and operators at universities, government labs, hospitals, biotech / pharma companies, and non-profits.
- Individuals with a verifiable organizational affiliation — we use this during review.
- Adults able to accept the terms and confirm compliance with local biosecurity regulations.
Geographic restrictions
Check before registering
Omnii enforces export-control rules. Requests from sanctioned jurisdictions are blocked at the network edge and by the API middleware. If your traffic is blocked, registration will fail with a generic error — this is by design. See the operator guide for the current list.
If you're an eligible researcher travelling through a restricted region, register from your home network.
What we won't approve
- Anonymous requests — every account must be tied to a named individual at a named organization.
- Registrations where the described use is incompatible with the platform's biosecurity mission.
- Automated sign-ups; rate limiting and manual review make bulk registration impractical.
