The surveillance panel contextualizes a sequence against public epidemiological data (Nextstrain, NCBI).

When the panel appears

Surveillance is shown only for Select Agents. Non-select-agent organisms (e.g. E. coli K-12) will not render this panel.

Panels

Assembly summary — count of public assemblies for the matched taxon.
Divergence distribution — pairwise divergence of the submitted sequence against the reference set.
Environment / biome Sankey — sample provenance (host, environment).
Bubble map — geographic distribution of isolates; bubble size ∝ sample count.
